Beta Club

We are excited to re-launch Jr. Beta Club at Taylors Elementary next year! Students who are invited to join will receive an invite letter on May 7 or 8 and an official invitation prior to an Induction Ceremony in August! Jr. Beta is open to 4th and 5th grade students. This is a great club that recognizes students of high character and academic achievement! We'll be adding an official Beta Club website in the fall but you can find some information on the Club, on our sponsors, and on requirements below in the meantime!

I'm super excited to bring Beta Club back to Taylors Elementary! I was in the Beta Club at Taylors as a student myself and I ran the Greer Middle Beta Club for 8 years! Beta is super special to me because it is all about recognizing the talents of young people, encouraging them to work hard and try their best, and never stop believing.

Over my time with Beta, I led students on trips to Myrtle Beach for State Convention. My students won awards for everything from Quiz Bowl to Living Literature to 3D Art! I also had the privilege to take our Quiz Bowl team to Oklahoma for Nationals one year and our Robotics team to Nashville another. My time with Beta and with Beta students has been one of the highlights of my career and I'm so excited to start with Taylors students in the fall!
