I'm super excited to bring Beta Club back to Taylors Elementary! I was in the Beta Club at Taylors as a student myself and I ran the Greer Middle Beta Club for 8 years! Beta is super special to me because it is all about recognizing the talents of young people, encouraging them to work hard and try their best, and never stop believing. 

Over my time with Beta, I led students on trips to Myrtle Beach for State Convention. My students won awards for everything from Quiz Bowl to Living Literature to 3D Art! I also had the privilege to take our Quiz Bowl team to Oklahoma for Nationals one year and our Robotics team to Nashville another. My time with Beta and with Beta students has been one of the highlights of my career and I'm so excited to start with Taylors students in the fall!

I am thrilled to be working with your child in the Beta Club this year! I am a third grade teacher at Taylors. It's my 9th year teaching, and my 6th at Taylors. My husband, Julian and I have two children, Hollis (4) and Levi (2). In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, whether it be exploring the outdoors to spending quality time at home. I can't wait to begin the amazing work in the Taylors Beta Club!

My name is Chrissy Smith. I am a 5th grade teacher at Taylors I  moved to Greer in 2022 with my husband, two girls and our dog. We have loved it here so very much. Everybody is welcoming; we love the school, community and our church. I graduated from UNC Pembroke with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K-6th grade) and from Furman University with my masters in literacy. Outside of school, I am usually gardening, running or reading a good book.

Hi!  My name is Lindsey Weeks and I am thrilled to be helping with the Junio Beta Club this upcoming school year.  I have taught both 4th and 5th grades over the past 22 years, all of them at the BEST SCHOOL EVER: Taylors Elementary School!

I have been teaching at Taylors for 28 years!  I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Grade!  My husband and I have two daughters, one will be a senior in high school and one a senior in college next year!  When not at school, I treasure time with my family.  

I am so excited to be involved with Beta Club!  I have watched my daughters and my niece thrive and grow so much through Beta Club!  I can't wait to be a part of this and see all the amazing things the Taylors Beta Club will accomplish!
