Welcome to 2nd Grade! I am Lori Wright. This is my 23rd year teaching and my 2nd year at Taylors Elementary. I began my teaching career in 4th grade and taught for 6 years. This includes 1 year teaching a single-gender girls' class and 1 year teaching a single-gender boys' class. I spent two years teaching 3rd grade, and this will be my 15th year in 2nd grade. Second grade is my happy place!

I am a graduate of Newberry College, where I earned a bachelor's degree in biology. I later attended Converse College, where I received my master's degree in education.

I enjoy working with children and helping them learn new things (especially science). My goal this year is to help your child learn the second-grade standards and to guide them in becoming the best Taylors Topcat citizen they can be!

Clemson Tigers, Carolina Panthers, reading, Zumba, shopping, Mexican food, spending time with family, friends & animals (especially cats)
