Dear Parents/Guardians:
First of all, let me say: Thank you. Thank you for your tireless support of your child at Riverside High School. Through fundraisers, parent-teacher meetings, school sports, after-school activities, and everything else that happens in the course of a school year, you have shown your commitment to giving your child the best possible education. As I partner with you here at Riverside High School for the education of your child, I want you to know, that your commitment does not go unnoticed.
I am anticipating this to be an exciting year. My commitment is to plan and present instruction which challenges and provides opportunities for success in this and future math classes, listening to and responding to questions and concerns, giving individual help as class time permits, evaluating progress and reporting it to the student and you at regular intervals. I truly believe that our communication is important to your child’s success.I look forward to working with you. I have roughly 25 Graphing Calculators for student use, however the TI-84 Plus graphing calculator is our recommendation for you to purchase for individual use outside the classroom. Below is a list of required materials that your child needs:

1 notebook for all math work and handouts ( 3 ring binder with pockets )
Pencils and erasers
Graph paper
TI-84 Plus (Highly Recommended)
