Hey folks! I'm Taylor Ammons, and I'm proud to be a Southside Tiger.

I'm a lifelong resident of Greenville, SC, and I graduated from Furman University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. At my commencement ceremony, one of my favorite Spanish language professors challenged my entire graduating class to "find a vocation."

After a successful career in the lab and later in sales, I discovered a passion for teaching and sharing the resilient positivity I have developed through my life experiences with the next generation. In public education, I've found my vocation, and a true calling.

I hope to inspire students to pursue a higher education or career in a STEM field, but regardless of students' educational or career goals, I know I can use my professional experience and the context of a rigorous science class to give them the tools to find success and satisfaction in life.
