About Mrs. Waynick

GENERAL INFORMATION:

My name is Sharon Waynick.  I received my BA in marketing with a minor in finance from Auburn University (WAR EAGLE!). After working in outside sales and being a buyer for Belk, I returned to Converse College and received my Master's degree in Education and earned National Board Certification shortly thereafter.  

I taught third and fourth grade at Woodland Elementary in Greer before becoming a Challenge teacher.  Besides Brushy Creek, I have taught Challenge at Plain Elementary, Monaview Elementary, and as an additional Challenge teacher at Buena Vista Elementary, Lake Forest,  and Pelham Road.  I love being at Brushy Creek since it is our home based school.  I love our community and am excited to teach students in this area.  I live in Greer with my husband, Andy. Our children are now all married and we are adjusting to being empty nesters with the exception of our two dogs. In my free time I like spending it with my family and watching college football!  I love amusement parks and especially roller coasters.  I look forward to an exciting year as we grow together toward excellence!
