Classroom Management Plan: In our school we will follow these rules.
Show Respect
Hold yourself accountable
Inspire Others
Never Give up
Every day, make good choices
When these rules are not followed, students will be given a warning, have a mini conference with the teacher to discuss behavior, take a time-out, or a note or call home.
Routines:
If a change in dismissal transportation is needed, it must be submitted to the teacher in writing. Students will be sent home according to their usual dismissal procedures, unless there is written notification from the child’s parent. Phone and email messages cannot be accepted. Early dismissals should take place before 1:45.
All money sent to school should be in a labeled envelope or bag marked with your child’s name and purpose for the money.
You must be cleared as a level 2 volunteer to serve as a chaperone for field trips. Information can be found on the Fountain Inn Elementary website. It can take several weeks for this information to be processed so please complete level 2 application at beginning of the year if you are interested in serving as a chaperone.
For all field trips, students will bring home a baggie with all necessary information and forms to be completed. Please use this baggie to return forms when complete.
Supervision of students begins at 7:00 in the cafeteria. Students will then report to their grade level holding area in the hallway from 7:15-7:30. They are dismissed to class at 7:30 with instruction beginning at 7:45.
Breakfast and lunch are free for all students. Breakfast is served from 7:00-7:35. Lunch is 10:30-10:55.
Communication:
Folders will be sent home daily along with their snack/behavior calendar stapled inside. Newsletters will be sent home monthly. Phone or email is the preferred form of communication. Teachers will respond within 24 hours with the exception of contacts made after 3 on Friday.
