In this class, students will learn about Plants, Animals, Ag Mechanics, Agribusiness, Environment, Careers and Leadership. All 7th and 8th grade students are automatically enrolled in FFA (previously Future Farmers of America) as it is part of the curriculum. Sixth graders are encouraged to sign up as members of Greenville County 4-H. Throughout the year, students will have the opportunity to compete at FFA Career Development Events (CDE) and Leadership Development Events (LDE).
Required materials first semester:
Chromebook with charger
1" 3-ring binder to be left in class
Writing utensil
6th grade: 1 pack washable markers for classroom

8th grade: 1 box of tissues
In this class, we will be using tools, occasionally getting dirty and working with animals. We take precautions to keep the students safe, but that also depends on the students doing what they are asked!
