Welcome to 3rd Grade!
Hi! My name is Sarah Suratt. I graduated from Western Governors University in April 2024 with my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. This is my second year as a certified teacher! I look forward to making our classroom a home away from home and learning as much from the students as they will learn from me!
Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and try to go on as many adventures as possible! I love the mountains in the fall and the beach in the summer and I feel blessed to have access to both as a resident of Greenville, SC! I love good books, cooking, gardening, chocolate, decafe coffee, sports, and art! I have been married for 8 years and have a 6 year old son who will begin 1st grade at the Fork this year. Therefore, I can reassure you that I understand parental perspectives and the importance of communication about our kiddos. We are on this journey together!
Thank you in advance for your grace, understanding, support, and encouragement throughout this year as I find my groove and get to know our students! I look forward to a successful year that I will remember forever!
Last Christmas was our first time experiencing the Polar Express Train and we loved it! If you enjoy the book and the movie, we highly recommend this adventure!
Our son loves Monster Jam and this event has become a yearly tradition for the last two years. We suggest looking for tickets around Black Friday to get a good discount and spend a little extra on the Pit Party! It's always worth it!
