I’m one of the dance teachers here at Stone Academy teaching 2nd–5th grade. I also teach at the Northern ARMES site which is the feeder program for the Fine Arts Center!
I moved to the Greenville area in June of 2024, but originally from Rock Hill, South Carolina. I began dancing at age 3 at Just Dancin' Dance Studio and started competing at age 7 with Step South Dance. I continued my training at the University of South Carolina (Columbia), where I earned my B.A. in Dance with a concentration in education and a K–12 teaching certification.
Before joining Greenville County Schools, I taught Theatre and Dance at Carvers Bay Middle School in Georgetown County, where I was honored to be named Rookie Teacher of the Year for 2024–25. This is my second year in Greenville County Schools and my third year of teaching overall, and I’m so excited for another year at Stone!
When I’m not teaching dance, I enjoy all things creative. I enjoy drawing, painting, crafting, DIYing, and acting. I also enjoy spending time with my husband, going to church events, going to the gym, playing sports and board games, visiting the beach, thrifting, and spending time with family and friends.
I’m so grateful to be part of such an awesome community at Stone and can’t wait to inspire and be inspired by my students this year!
