About Mrs. Kirkpatrick

I was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. I started playing the violin in middle school at League Academy and continued my musical studies at the Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities. I have Bachelor's Degrees in Violin Performance and Music Education from Florida State University and a Master's Degree in Violin Performance from Converse College. This is my tenth year of teaching with Greenville County Schools and my sixth year at Stone Academy.

I currently live in Greenville with my husband, Daniel, and our beagle, Teddy. I have an active performing career with the Greenville, Hendersonville, and Spartanburg Symphonies as well as playing for weddings and events. I also teach private violin lessons. In my spare time, I like to explore downtown with Daniel, find and restore vintage clothing, play with Teddy, read, and bake.
