1. Be kind, courteous, and respectful to others.
Do not talk while I am teaching or talking. You should not hinder another student’s education.
Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
Do not talk while others are talking, disrupt class, talk excessively, or make unnecessary comments.
2. Be on time. You must be in your seat when the tardy bell rings.
3. Be fully prepared for class.
Sharpen pencils and take care of any other business of such a manner before the tardy bell rings. Class will start immediately after the bell, and we do not have time to waste.
Have your book, notebook, paper, pencil, and graphing calculator for class everyday.
Complete all assignments given.
4. Give your undivided attention to this class for the entire 90 minutes you are in class.
Put all other materials away.
No food, drink, or gum allowed (with the exception of water in a closed container).
You may be excused to use the restroom only during classwork activity time. Otherwise you should stay in your seat, especially during instruction.
Consequences
Disruptive actions will result in the following:
1st offense—Teacher warning
2nd offense—Student detention
3rd offense – Parent contact
4th offense or more—dealt with by administration (referral)
Any severe disruption will result in immediate referral to Assistant Principal or Counselor.
