Hello! My name is Stephen Hampton, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Monaview Elementary. With 12 years of experience in educational leadership, including 10 years as a middle school principal, I am excited to begin my 2nd year here at Monaview.

 I hold a Bachelor's degree from Newberry College, a Master’s degree from Southern Wesleyan University, and an Education Specialist in Leadership degree from Converse College. My educational journey has equipped me with the skills and knowledge needed to foster a positive and productive learning environment for our students.

 On a personal note, I am blessed to have a wonderful family. My wife, Elizabeth, and my adult children: Miles, Patrick, and Kristina, as well my bonus son and daughter, Marloe and Grayson. Family is incredibly important to me, and I strive to create a community at Monaview that feels like family for our students and staff.

 I am passionate about education and look forward to working together with our dedicated teachers, staff, and families to ensure every child reaches their full potential
