About Me
Bonjour à tous! My name is Sarah (my students call me Madame B!) and this is my 6th year teaching French at GMA.
My journey with French began right here at home. I signed up for French as a sophomore at Wade Hampton High School and immediately fell in love with the language. I studied abroad at L'Université de Caen and L'Institut Jacques Lefevre in 2013 and graduated with a B.A. in French and Linguistics in 2014. I took a few career and life detours before ending up in education, and I am thrilled to have found such passion and purpose teaching middle school.
I live in Taylors with my husband, our daughter, two tuxedo cats, and a Lab mix named Indiana! In my spare time, I love reading, playing cozy video games, and planning my next trip to Disney World. I am so excited to know all of you.
