Hello and welcome! My name is Mandi Starling, and I’m so excited to be your child’s 2nd grade teacher this year at Ellen Woodside.

I’ve been part of the Ellen Woodside family for a combined total of 4 years—3 of those as a paraprofessional, and now in my second year as a classroom teacher. These experiences have given me a deep love for working with students and helping them grow in confidence and ability.

I’m a proud member of our community and a graduate of Woodmont High School, Class of 2007. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Liberty University in 2023.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, vacationing, and spending time at my kids’ sports events. I’m married to my husband, Justin, and together we have three beautiful children: Toccoa, Levi, and Savannah. Family is everything to me, and I bring that same spirit of care and connection into our classroom.
