Sharon Russo, Lead Teacher
Hello, I am Sharon Russo and I am so excited to be your child's teacher. This is my 26th year teaching, and my first at Riley CDC. Over the years, I have taught 4k, at Greenville Tech in the Early Childhood Program, at the Meyer Center, Washington Center, and preschool special ed around the district.
I am a Greenville native. I am a graduate of University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) in Early Childhood, and Converse College with a Masters in Special Ed.
I have been married to my husband, Brent, for 25 years. We have two boy, Woods (22) who is a senior at LSU and Martin (19) who is a sophomore at USC. I have two dogs (both girls!) who we love very much.
In our free time, we enjoy watching sports (especially SEC football!), traveling and being on the water at the lake and the beach. Personally, I love to read, drink coffee and Cokes zeros and enjoy cooking when I have time.
