About Me

¡Hola! My name is Amelia Goodbar, and I am so excited to be serving the children at Hughes Academy this year! I am from Greenville, but most recently I have been teaching at Pendleton High School. I am so glad to be back! I graduated from Clemson University in 2009 with a BA in Secondary Spanish Education. While at Clemson, I studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain, and fell SO in love with the language and the culture. I taught for one year after college, and took a few years investigating other options before returning to my true passion. While at Pendleton, I fell back in love with Spanish and education, and realized how much teaching really is my true purpose. I am so excited and so grateful for the opportunity to be a Cougar!! ❤️
