Spanish Language Arts - 6th Grade

Course Description

Students who complete the partial immersion program at Blythe Academy or other partial immersion programs will enter a middle school partial immersion program in grade 6. Students will be transitioned from content-based instruction to sequential foreign language study. This course will help students begin to focus on how the language works. Students will begin more in depth studies of the language itself, literature and cultural idioms. Accuracy, grammar and literacy will become more emphasized in this phase of their language learning. This course will be interdisciplinary in nature and will be taught entirely in the target language.
