We are thrilled to invite your child to join the Hughes Academy Spanish Club—a great space to explore and celebrate the rich and colorful world of Hispanic culture!
Our Mission:
To inspire students to experience and appreciate Spanish culture through fun, engaging activities that connect language, traditions, music, dance, and food.
What Your Child Will Gain:
A deeper understanding of how Spanish culture’s products (like delicious foods) reflect its unique perspectives.
Knowledge and appreciation of Hispanic traditions, celebrations, and arts.
Dear Parents,
We’re so excited that your child wants to be part of the Spanish Club! We have a fantastic lineup of activities planned to make learning about Hispanic culture fun and meaningful. To join, students must be enrolled in a Spanish class.
Club Guidelines:
Students must have no more than two ISS and zero OSS.
Two late pick-ups will result in dismissal from the club.
Students must maintain passing grades.
Respectful behavior is required; any disciplinary issues will lead to immediate dismissal and parent contact.
Please ensure your child has transportation promptly at 4:00 PM after each meeting—we want our teachers to get home on time!
