Woodmont High School 1:00-2:30

Tuesday-Thursday small group speech therapy sessions 8:00-2:00

* Friday –Medicaid documentation, screenings, updating logs, parent contacts

Description of Students

*All students have been identified through the Assistance Team process and are being served for delays in

articulation, language, fluency or a combination of deficit areas.

Standards/Learning and Developmental Goals

*Speech evaluation results indicate area(s) of weaknesses that will be

addressed on each student's IEP. A variety of instructional approaches

will be utilized to accommodate the diverse levels of the students.

Materials and Resources

*Instructional materials are tailored to each student based on their individual

Needs and Individualized Education Plan (IEP)

Assessment Procedures

Student progress is tracked during therapy sessions, progress reports,

Annual Review IEP meetings, and Triennial Re-evaluation meetings.

Student Records

*Student Due Process records are kept in the front office. A copy of the IEP is available

for authorized personnel only

*Student data and progress is maintained through the EasyIEP System and Enrich IEP system

Attendance and Tardy

*Students are expected to come to therapy on time.

Rules

*Students are expected to follow the rules posted in the speech room.

*Students are expected to participate in therapy.

Consequence/Rewards

*Not following rules may result in no sticker and no visits to the

prize box.

Procedures for Non-Instructional Routine

*Students should follow the rules of an Ellen Woodside Leader at all times.

Presentation of Rules and Procedures

*Rules are posted in the speech room and explained at the beginning of the year.

*Speech rules are reviewed as needed.

Behavior Contract/Reward System

*Monthly rewards and treats

Students will adhere to the Ellen Woodside Leader rules while in transition to and from speech class.
