Hello! I’m Mrs. Johnson-Barnes, or "Mrs. B", and I’m thrilled to have your student in my class for this semester. It's my first full year at Southside High, as I was a long-term orchestra substitute last semester.
I have been a performing cellist, music teacher, and booking agent for over 15 years.

April 27th is our Spring Showcase 6pm

We need each student to be present for each concert. Our ensemble is balanced. Each absence/missing part within the group effects the performance quality.
PLAN FOR YOUR STUDENT TO BRING DRESS BLACK ATTIRE AND STAY AFTER SCHOOL ON PERFORMANCE DAYS.
