Mission: The mission of the Freshmen Academy at Southside High School is to support all students by embracing our diversity and cultivating student leaders and scholars.

Goals:

Increase the number of students who successfully complete the requirements for promotion to 10th grade to at least 94%.

Improve each EOC pass rate in Algebra 1, Biology 1 and English 2 annually.

Facilitate students' involvement in the culture and extra curricular activities of the school.
