Dear Parents and Students,

Hi!  My name is Ms. Long and I am going to be your third grade teacher for the 2023-2024 school year!  Third grade has some awesome units and field trips planned.   I wanted to write and tell you a little about myself and hopefully make you excited about the upcoming school year!

This will be my  eleventh year teaching!  I have been working in a school setting for thirteen years in Greenville County Schools.  I grew up in Simpsonville  and graduated from James F. Byrnes High School.  I have a bachelor’s degree from University of South Carolina Upstate.  

I currently live in Fountain Inn.  I have four wonderful children; Marley, Carpenter, Sadie, and Rowan.  I also have a miniature dachshund named Cash.  It is never a dull moment around our house!

The first day of school is August 8th.  I can’t wait to start off our “OWL”standing year!
