Dear Students,

Welcome to fifth grade! I know we are going to do so many amazing things this year! You will all grow as readers, mathematicians, writers, and thinkers this year!

I can’t wait to learn all about you, but here are a few things about me:

• I am the 2025-2026 District Teacher of the Year! 

• I am the 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year for Robert E Cashion

• This is my 6th year teaching!

• I have always lived in South Carolina, and I attended Converse College for education.

• I have taught fifth and third grade! 

• I have two dogs, Rhett and Wiley! 

• I am so excited to be your teacher this year, and cannot wait to get started!
