Welcome to 2nd grade! My name is Sarah Methvin, and I am very excited about being your child’s teacher! I am delighted to have this opportunity to work with you and your child this year, and consider it a blessing to be a part of your life. I was raised in Spartanburg and received my B.A. in Elementary Education from Converse College. I graduated with my Masters in Education (M.Ed.) from Converse College focusing on Gifted Education. This will be my 15th year in education! I have taught 4th grade, 3rd grade, and have been a math coach/interventionist.
Outside of school, I enjoy camping or just exploring new adventures with my husband and 4 year old son.
