About Ms. Clark

I absolutely love teaching! I have been a teacher since 2011 when I started here at Oakview. I started my teaching career in 5th grade where I spent a year and a half. Since then, I've been a second grade teacher. Before becoming a teacher I worked at Oavkiew in the EDP program and was a substitute at the school. I've always known that I wanted to be a teacher. I loved going to school (and still do) as a child. I want to make a positive connection with each and every student and parent. I want to inspire students to learn and achieve all of their goals.

I have a son, Brantley. He was born in November of 2012. I've love being his mother more than I ever thought possible. He is a giant ball of love and energy. We have one dog, a spring spaniel named Tillie May. She is perhaps the most spoiled dog I've ever owned. Brantley and I love to play with her and love on her. My favorite things to do include playing with Brantley, traveling, listening to music/going to concerts, cooking & eating, going to the lake or the beach, hunting, fishing, and riding four wheelers. I love to read as well. I'm always reading something whether it is a book about teaching strategies, a psychological thriller, or a children's book that I can share with the class or Brantley. I am a Clemson fan and love to watch them play. Saturdays during the fall are for football, family, and friends!
