Book Check Out (students)
Students may checkout books M-F between 7:20-2:45.
All students visit the library every week to check out books. Kindergarten and First Grades are allowed to check out one book. Second through Fifth Grades can check out two books.
When books are lost or damaged students and/or parents need to let me know right away so I can help you! Fines will be assessed for lost books or books damaged beyond repair or readability.
The Library may be reserved for before or after school use by contacting library staff via email. A schedule of library use is located on the calendar on the office door.
The library is available to individual students throughout the day per teacher approval. Students need to bring their ID for book check out.
Books are due back in one week (may be renewed as long as not on hold by another student).
We do not charge late fees, but if a book is lost or stolen, the student is responsible for paying the replacement cost.
Students are encouraged to participate in Media Center programs such as book clubs and challenges, reading program promotions, Read Around the Christmas Tree, Greenville Drive Reading All Stars, Summer & Winter Reading and other library sponsored events and programs. These reading programs can be found on the library website, or you can check with the library for more info.
