About the Teacher

My name is Coach Steading and I am so excited to be back for my sixth year at Grove Elementary! This will be my 16th year of teaching PE overall and my 13th year at the elementary level.  I attended Winthrop University for my undergraduate degree and then completed my graduate degree at the University of South Carolina.  In the gym, the students and I will work together to build a community atmosphere that will model respect and teamwork. My goal is to make PE exciting and fun for all students and I look forward to another great year here at Grove!

Outside side of school , Katie and I have a son, Nash, who is 4 years old and we just welcomed our second son, Baker. We also have a dog named Bret (who is a Brittany Spaniel). I'm a die hard South Carolina Gamecocks fan in all sports!
