About the Teacher

 I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree from Clemson University and a Masters Degree from Converse College. I also have my Masters + 30 in the area of Special Education.  Before coming to Blue Ridge, I taught at Landrum High School and taught in the Release Time program at Greer High School.   This is my thirteenth year at Blue Ridge High School. I love teaching in the community that I live in!  

On a personal note, I have been married to Ross Skinner for 30 years.  We have six children from the ages of 19 to 30.  Three of our children are married and we have four grandchildren.

I chose teaching as a career because I love working with young people.  I look forward to working with my students this year!
