Southside offers three 3-unit CTE major completer programs: General Management, Marketing Communications, and Health Science. Seniors may be recognized at graduation ceremonies if the course requirements for completion of a major have been met.

Southside students have a unique opportunity to obtain industry certifications through coursework at Donaldson Career Center in a variety of career fields, including: Automotive Technology, Barbering/Master Hair Care, Building Contsrtuction, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Digital Art & Design, Esthetics, Firefighting, Mechatronics, Nail Technology, and Welding. Dual college credit is available for some courses. Transportation is provided to and from Southside each day.
