meet mrs. grove

Welcome friends! My name is Sydney Grove, and I am thrilled to be teaching 8th grade science at Beck Academy. As a recent graduate from Clemson University, where I earned a degree in Plant and Environmental Science in December 2022, I am eager to share my passion for the subject with my students.

In addition to my academic achievements, I have recently embarked on a new chapter in my personal life. I tied the knot with my wonderful husband, Mason, in June. Our little family is completed by our adorable cat, Muffin, who brings us endless joy and entertainment.

When I'm not in the classroom, you can often find me exploring the great outdoors. I have a deep appreciation for nature and all its wonders. Whether it's backpacking through the Blue Ridge Mountains, taking leisurely walks on the Swamp Rabbit, or simply observing animals in their natural habitats, I find solace and inspiration in the beauty of the world around us.

This year marks my first year teaching at Beck Academy, and I couldn't be more excited to take off on this journey with my students. I am committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive and develop a love for science.
