Exploratory Syllabus

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to Sevier Middle School! I am so excited to have your child in Exploratory class this year. This course will cover entry level coding (drag and drop), design, app creating and a little gaming. Students will learn the importance of Internet safety and digital etiquette and how to use video games responsibly. 

Students will be:

• Developing apps/games

• Explore past/present/future apps/games

• Create an End Of Semester App (an app that they would actually want to try to create)

• Working together to create real world apps/games

Grading and Retake Policy (GCSD)

Materials needed for this class include earbuds or headphones (WIRED). Headphones should be brought to and from class each day and will not be stored in the classroom.
