Spring Concert: May 7th at 6 pm in the gym

SUBJECT: Spring Sing All-County Choral Festival Workshop and Performance
WHEN: Tuesday, April 14, 2026
WHERE: The Peace Center for the Performing Arts
REHEARSAL: Students will rehearse on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, 9:00 am – 2:30 pm. Students are to use the restroom in the front lobby before rehearsal begins. Teachers will escort students to the restrooms during specified breaks. A school district nurse will also be on staff at the Peace Center. Please pack an emergency snack if your student must monitor sugar levels.
LUNCH: Bring a sack lunch. We will break for lunch at 11:30 am. Students should bring a sealed and labeled water bottle so they may remain hydrated throughout the day. No straws or open lids.
PARENT TRANSPORTATION: Parents will transport their children to and from the Peace Center on Tuesday, April 14. Student check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Peace Center lobby. All students must be seated in the concert hall before rehearsal begins by 9:00 am. Our guest clinician, Tiffany English, will begin rehearsal promptly at 9:00 a.m. NOTE: Peace Center doors will not open before 8:30.
DRESS FOR THE REHEARSAL: GCS School District dress code applies to all performers. Students are to sport school colors or chorus shirts with nice comfortable jeans, pants, shoes, etc. Wear your I.D. badge at all times.
EVENING PERFORMANCE: Singers are to wear formal black concert attire. This is a formal concert in a prestigious venue.
TICKETS: $20.00 per person in advance or $23.00 per person at the door, April 14. Tickets go on sale in March of 2026 and must be purchased from the Peace Center.
PERFORMANCE ARRIVAL: Parents are to transport students back to the Peace Center by 6:30 p.m. that same evening. Students enter through the side door on Broad Street and audience members enter through the lobby. Performance will begin promptly at 7:00 pm.
EVENING PICK-UP: Students are to meet their parents after the program outside in front of Genevieve’s Restaurant. Specific dismissal instructions will be given following the concert.
If a student is unable to attend the Tuesday rehearsal at the Peace Center, he/she will not be permitted to perform at the evening concert. Also, all performers are expected to stay the duration of the performance (approximately one hour). Please also note that this performance will be video recorded and broadcasted on Greenville County Schools Channel. Plan to come and enjoy an exciting evening of beautiful music!
