Word Hunt
Point out words with the new pattern while reading, driving home, or sitting at a restaurant.
Color Code
Write 5 words with the new pattern using one color for the consonants and one color for the vowels.
Type It
Type 5 words with the new pattern on a google doc; practice changing the font, color, and size.
Magazine Collage
Using magazines or cereal boxes, cut out the letters to create -these words. Glue together to make a collage.
Syllables
Create a syllable chart with the new pattern words. List at least 2 words for each section.
