About the Teacher

Welcome to Success! I am entering my 40th year in education and I'm very happy to be returning to Berea High School. This is going to be a wonderful year for high school students! There are so many opportunities and fabulous admin, staff and teachers to work with! So glad you are here with us.

My degrees include a Bachelors in Education from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters Degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College. Through the years I have taught in Pennsylvania, Georgia and South Carolina, including Lexington 5, Beaufort, and Greenville Counties. Most recently, I have been at Berea High School since 2015.

My husband, of 36 years, and I have raised two wonderful young men. Our oldest son, Jonathan, Clemson graduate, is a Captain in the Army stationed in Savannah, GA. He and his beautiful wife, Ale, welcomed our first grandson, Landon, into the world! He is an amazingly, sweet baby!! Jordan, also a Clemson graduate,  is employed as the director of human resources at a Grace Church in Greenville. Jordan and Colette, his college sweetheart, are expecting their first baby this fall.  Our only "child" that resides at home is our Aussiedoodle, "Macc"hioto.  He is my cuddle buddy!!
