I was born in Missouri and have a twin brother. I am married and have three children: A daughter that graduated from Clemson in Nursing; another daughter with a doctorate in Occupational Therapy and a son that just graduated from USC. I have lived in several states but consider Greenville home.
Before teaching, I worked as a computer operator/programmer for RealCom, a subsidiary of IBM, Harris Graphics and Computer Sciences Corporation. I am a Google Education certified teacher and have completed NASA STEM technology training. I am also a facilitator for Code.org. In my spare time, I love to read, travel and learn new programming languages.
