About Me

Hello! This is my twelfth year teaching at J. L. Mann, but I am not new to the school because I am an alumni of Mann class of 2007. I have a Bachelor of Arts in History from Furman University and a Masters in School Leadership from Furman University. I am also endorsed by the College Board to teach AP Macroeconomics and AP Government. In addition, I have a Gifted and Talented & Read to Succeed endorsement and have taken 21 additional hours of ESOL classes.  I am passionate about learning and teaching history! Stay up to date with what is happening in class by checking appropriate Google Classroom page.  U.S. History students are automatically enrolled in Google Classroom.  AP Govt. & AP Macro students will be given a Google Classroom code to join the first day of school.  Parents may email me if they want to be attached to their child in Google Classroom.
