About Me

I am SO excited to have each of you in my class this year! I can’t wait to explore, experiment, ask questions, and learn together.

I have 14 years of experience in education and have taught science to students of all age, from preschool all the way to 8th grade! I also spent 3 years coaching GATE teachers at the district level and have had the opportunity to work with several middle schools across Greenville County.

I graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Level Science, English, and Reading. Even though I love all learning, science has always had my heart. A middle school science lab is where I am meant to be! 

My husband is also an educator, and together we have 5 school-aged children who definitely keep life exciting and busy! When I’m not teaching, you can usually find me spending time with my family, reading a book, taking care of my plants, or traveling along the East Coast.

I cannot wait for an incredible year full of curiosity, creativity, teamwork, and FUN in science!
