About Mrs. Grafton

Hi! My name is Tonya Grafton and I will be serving as the mental health counselor for Greenview, Northwest Crescent, and Dunbar Child Development Centers. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker currently working toward independent clinical social work licensure. Additionally, I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and am a Certified Grief-Informed Professional as well as a Mindfulness-Informed Professional.

My background includes experience in foster care and private practice, and my therapeutic approach incorporates a blend of child-centered play therapy interventions, cognitive behavioral techniques, and mindfulness strategies for both child and caregiver. I am passionate about early intervention services and thrilled to be a part of this district! 

Things that make me happy include: coffee, quality time with family and friends, running, Pilates, yoga, reading, and snuggling with my two adorable poodles.
