I grew up in Greenville and I continue to love living and working in the area. I attended the University of South Carolina where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have my Master's Degree from Southern Wesleyan University and the Literacy Teaching and Literacy Coaching Endorsements from the SC State Department of Education.

The 2024-25 school year is my 20th year at Sara Collins Elementary. I taught 2nd grade at Sara Collins for 9 wonderful years, and this year is my 11th year as the Literacy Specialist.
