Welcome to website!! My name is Jamie Schatz. I’m originally from Hartsville, SC and moved to Greenville in 2020 after living in Chicago and Denver. I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences.

I’ve had the opportunity to travel around the world throughout my career, including working on a Lion Conservation Project in Zimbabwe, Africa. I first fell in love with teaching while leading workshops in distillation practices, viticulture, and oenology.

Working as a Guardian ad Litem and High School Soccer Coach sparked my love for working with teenagers. It’s my desire to bring excitement to the field of science and to show students the endless opportunities available to them if they only know where to look!

I am always available to help students in anyway I can - not just in their science classes, but also with their other interests, goals, hobbies, sports etc. I am here to be your advocate and to help you achieve all of your goals. I look forward to getting to know each of you!
