Syllabus

Below are the SC Dept of Education standards for law enforcement. The standards listed are intended to serve as guides to assist teachers and administrators in providing an instructional program that is current and relevant. Law, Public Safety, Corrections, and Security skill standards address what a worker needs to know and be able to do to contribute to a safe, productive, and effective work environment. Students will be properly prepared for their careers when the standards listed are integrated with quality instructional techniques. The standards provide a secure foundation for future training in the student's career. Each section is six pages long.
