About Ms. Snyder

Hello! My name is Ms. Snyder and I teach Algebra 1 CP, Algebra 1 Honors, Pre Calculus Honors, and Pre Calculus CP. I grew up in Woodruff, SC and graduated from Woodruff High School. I then went to the University of Tennessee for college. During college, I participated in the Pride of the Southland Marching Band for 4 years. I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics with minors in Secondary Education and Business. I went on to receive my Masters of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education. I received my Gifted and Talented Endorsement during the summer of 2016 from Converse College and my AP Statistics certification during the summer of 2017. I am a member of two professional groups: SCCTM and GCTM. Being active in those professional groups allows me to stay up-to-date on current teaching trends in mathematics. I am also the Senior class sponsor this year along with Ms. Cox and Mr. Redd. This is my third year teaching at Greer High School, but I look forward to many more!
