Library Use
The media center operates on a flexible schedule.
Teachers sign up on an A/B schedule - the Google doc schedule is sent out to teachers on Thursday of each week. Classes come to the library for a 30 minute lesson /checkout. The media specialist will teach lessons covering topics such as using the library, using various reference materials, Internet searching, various genres of literature, and other information literacy skills.
All students are allowed to visit the media center anytime, with a pass and teacher approval.
Teachers are encouraged to use the library with their classes at other times as well. Teachers may schedule times to bring their classes to the media center and I will be glad to assist you in locating appropriate information and resources.
