Hello! My name is Susan Krawczyk, and I am delighted to be part of the Bethel Elementary community. With previous experience teaching 2nd grade and serving as a math interventionist, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for education to my current role.

I grew up in Winston-Salem, NC, and Orlando, FL, and earned my BA in Early Childhood Education from Converse College. I later pursued a Master's in Literacy from Clemson University.

My husband and I have two young adult children who have moved out of state for work, making us official empty nesters. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports (especially Clemson football, UNC basketball, and Braves baseball), dining downtown, and spending quality time with family and friends.

As the Literacy Specialist, I wear multiple hats throughout the school day. I dedicate part of my time to working with students who need extra support in reading and writing, and the remainder of my time to collaborating with teachers to enhance their literacy instruction. I look forward to another wonderful school year!
