Quarter 2 is Upon Us!
Good afternoon parents and students,
Quarter 2 has begun. This means grades and tardies are reset. It is important for students to be in class and to be on time so they can avoid consequences and to be present for essential learning time. After their third tardy, our Standard Operating Procedures outline that students will begin to receive detention. After their fifth, students begin to receive referrals.
Edgenuity content recovery has been assigned to eligible students who need it. Remember that all Edgenuity content is due Thursday 10/29 if students want their quarter 1 grade to be overriden.
I will be absent 10/22, 10/23, and 10/26 because of responsibilities with a friend's wedding. I will still be available via email during this time if you have any questions or concerns, but I will not have access to my school phone during these dates.

End of Quarter 1 Announcements
Good afternoon parents and students.
The end of the 1st grading period is right around the corner, so it is time to start making a push to get all students happy with their grades before they are locked in. Tomorrow (10/9) in Geometry, we will have an amnesty day where students will be offered quiz and test retakes for their lowest or missing grades. This day is very important, so pleasse ensure all students are in attendence if possible, as this will be one of their final oppurtunities to signicantly raise their quarter grade.
Also, our unit 4 test will be on Tuesday (10/13), so please ensure students are aware of and prepared for the upcomng triangles test. This test will not be reflected on the quarter 1 grade but will instead be the first grade of Q2. Doing well on this assessment will allow students to start the second half of the semester on a strong footing.
Please contact if you have any questions or concnerns.
