Classroom Procedures and Routines

Morning Routine :

• After breakfast students walk to the classroom in a single file. In the classroom students must hang their book bags/coats in their cubbies.
• Take out and turn in their communication book/ red folder.
• Make their lunch choice.
• Sit on blue carpet for morning work.
• Return to their desk for independent work.

Behavior Management System:

We will use "Sultan's Starbucks" money system in our class to reward students displaying the desired behavior. If they are working hard at:

• following teacher's directions
• staying in their assigned area
• staying on task
• waiting and not yelling when frustrated

Students may earn extra money and on Friday they may shop from the 'Class Shop'. We will have items from $5 to $100.

Reward System:

• Students are rewarded for positive behavior through positive notes home, stickers, verbal praise, positive phone calls home, Sultan's Starbucks
• At the end of the week if a student has not clipped down at all, then he/she will be able to pick from the treasure box.
