HOW DID I GET HERE?
Although originally from Delaware, I spent most of my formative years in small-town, Waynesboro, Virginia. I graduated from Virginia Tech - Go Hokies! - and began teaching in Roanoke, Virginia before moving to Richmond to experience a larger city. Years later, I followed my brother, sister-in-law, niece Leah, and nephew Ian, along with my retired parents and moved to North Carolina. I taught in Union County, North Carolina which is about 20 miles outside of Charlotte. After marrying my wonderful husband, Kevin, I packed up again and have been living in Greenville since August 2006. We have been blessed to add two incredible sons to our family, Davis and Harris.
BRYSON EXPERIENCE:
This is my twentieth year as a Bryson Bear! I have mainly taught fifth grade for most of my career, and I am looking forward to my third year in 3rd grade at BES!
