Students are expected to bring their Chromebook fully charged to class each day. **

1st offense- warning

2nd offense- parent contact

3rd offense- keep Chromebook at school

**Students can not charge Chromebooks at school.

We do not have specific assignments for homework each night, but here are some ways you can support your child at home:

1. Read with your child for 20 minutes.  Ask your child to tell you about what they read.  What is the genre of their book?  Who are the characters in their story?  What is the setting?  Is there a problem in the story?  If they finished their book, what was the solution?  What might have been a lesson that the author wanted the reader to learn in the story?  

2. Practice math facts (addition, subtraction, and multiplication)

3. Study the notebooks that were sent home for that day

4. Practice problems using the Google Slides posted on Google Classroom

**Los estudiantes no pueden cargar las Chromebooks en la escuela.

No tenemos tareas específicas para cada noche, pero aquí hay algunas maneras en que puede apoyar a su hijo en casa:

Lea con su hijo durante 20 minutos. Pídale que le cuente sobre lo que leyó. ¿Cuál es el género de su libro? ¿Quiénes son los personajes de su historia? ¿Cuál es la ambientación? ¿Hay algún problema en la historia? Si terminó su libro, ¿cuál fue la solución? ¿Qué lección podría haber sido la lección que el autor quería que el lector aprendiera en la historia?

Practiquen las operaciones matemáticas (suma, resta y multiplicación).

Estudien los cuadernos que se enviaron a casa ese día.

Practiquen problemas usando las Presentaciones de Google publicadas en Google Classroom.
