I am Kelly Saddler! I have been teaching for 15 years. This will be my 9th year at Fork Shoals! I had been teaching 4th grade for 7 years here at The Fork. I have previously taught 5th, 3rd, and 1st. I came back to first grade last year and I am excited for another year!

I was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. I graduated from East Carolina University ((GO PIRATES!!)) in Greenville, NC with a BS in Elementary Education with a minor in Child Studies. I also have my Masters Degree in Curriculum Design and Instruction from Western Governors University. My husband, Joe, and I moved to Simpsonville in January 2018 due to a job transfer from Charleston, West Virginia.

We have an 12-year-old son, Brody, who will be in 7th grade this year at Ralph Chandler, and a 5-year-old daughter, Brielle, who will be in kindergarten this year at Fork Shoals. We also have a 6-year-old boxer named Hershey. She has the funniest personality, the craziest eyes, and loves to snuggle and be carried like a baby.

In my "free time", you can find me reading a book, painting, or out at some sporting event for Brody or Brielle. As a family, we love to travel!

I am looking forward to working along side you to ensure your child has an amazing year in 1st grade!
