My family is a major part of my life. I am married to my husband, David, and we have two boys. Their names are Stephen and Andrew. Stephen is taking a year off from college and is living and working in Charleston, SC. Andrew is a Sophomore at Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC. Our family also has a zoo (not really) at home. We have three dogs and a cat. There is always an animal to love on at our home. We spend much of our free time boating on Lake Hartwell.

This will be my 20th year teaching. I have taught Kindergarten - fourth grade before this year. This will be my first year teacher fifth grade teacher and I am so excited to be working with the smart, kind, and funny fifth graders in my class. I have teaching experience in Florida, Colorado, and South Carolina and have a Master's degree in Reading and Literacy.

My hobbies include reading, boating, completing jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with my family. :)
